Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd: Earliest interview CBC radio

Perhaps the first interview Syd and the group did. It was originally recorded for the CBC in Canada. Portions of this interview pre-date the Floyd's recording contract!

Various dates are given for original broadcast mainly January 1967 though late 1966

The 1966 part starts with a beautiful early Interstellar Overdrive, magnificent that ONLY APPEARS ON THIS VERSION with the interview mixed over the music beginning with the Lady from CBC announcing.. "In a frenetic haze..."

The 1966 part ends at 9:40 when interstellar gets edited just after Peter Jenner says "They're two different things that requires a different approach. We think we can do both."

Whilst early the remainder of the tape is first aired in 1976.
