The historical significance is immeasurable. This is the only representation of Eno performing with the Winkies in front of an audience (there was also a BBC session released on the 'Dali's Car' boot), which makes it the only live representation of Eno as a singer/songwriter/rock star.

This is not the Brian Eno who makes ambient music, or gallery installations, or who produces top-charting pop bands, or who makes arty-intellectual music with David Byrne, or who collaborates with German electronica artists.

This is the Brian Eno who wore ostrich feathers, way too much eye makeup, silver jumpsuits and platform boots. This is the Brian Eno who collected pornograhic tarot cards and wrote songs that tried to cram as many sexual perversions into a song lyric as possible. This is the Brian Eno who insisted on showing (then-journalist) Chrissie Hynde exactly how much of his pubic hair he had shaved off.

This is the Brian Eno who, once upon a time, actually ROCKED OUT with as much effeminate campiness as the Sweet at their most outrageous. Just listen to his rendition of "I'm A Boy".
