Nov. 1971- July 1972- Electric Lady Studios, NYC, NY
Produced by Ron Johnson. Engineered by Dave Whitman.
I think most people know the story behind these recordings. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons
of Kiss where in a band named "Wicked Lester". They were signed to a major record label
and recorded what was to be their first album. They ended up re-recording the album two
times. Once with lead guitarist Steven Coronel, and the other with lead guitarist Ronnie
Leejack. This is the reason why there are different takes. They weren't happy with the way
the album sounded and asked to be let go of their contract. The album has remained unreleased
with the exception of three tracks released on the Kiss Box Set.
