The tapes were of demos recorded at a variety of sessions in Boston & Los Angeles in 1972 and 1973
'71-'73 Demos - Boston, MA & Los Angeles, CA, USA:
1. Girlfriend (unknown, but presumably the John Cale produced April '72 demo)
2. Modern World (unknown, but most likely from the Kim Fowley '73 sessions)
3. Ride On Down The Highway (unknown, but presumably from the '71 Intermedia session)
4. A Plea For Tenderness (Kim Fowley,'73, but not the version on SoR)
5. Hospital (unknown, but shorter and quite different to the version on ML)
OR:
1. Girlfriend (Cale produced April '72 demo: that's Cale on Mellotron)
2. Modern World (Kim Fowley Sept. 73 session)
3. Ride On Down The Highway (Fall '71 Intermedia demo. This is the only one of the four songs which were recorded that hasn't been officially released)
4. A Plea For Tenderness (Kim Fowley Sept. 73 session)
5. Hospital (Kim Fowley Sept. 73 session. I'm guessing on this one, but the vocal sound is consistent with the other fall 73 Fowley cuts that have escaped)
The demos are all excellent or very good quality (with some tape hiss)
