This track is really interesting: you can hear how begins a Beatles session.
George and Ringo are already in the studio.
Ringo sings to George his new composition (Octopus Garden) and George helps him finding new verses and a bridge. John & Paul are not yet arrived at the studio and George seems pleased to do something else than Lennon/McCartney.
Then comes George Martin who seems interested too and the both play the song for him.
John and Yoko arrive during the performance and John sings A LITTLE PIECE OF LEATHER on Ringo's new tune. John wants to play the song as he asks what instrument he should play. Ringo proposes bass, John refuses and takes drums instead. And so we can hear John playing drums !
Paul, finally arrives with Linda and Heather and asks about the dubs. "They sound terrible" reply Ringo. From this moment, only John seems interested in Ringo's new song. Paul is busy discussing the dubs with George.
