Soundboard Recording

The earliest known tape of Ray Manzarek performing. It's a soundboard recording of The UCLA Trio, a college jazz group Ray fronted as vocalist and pianist with John Hallibertan on bass and Sam Beale on drums. The recording is from 1961 when Ray was 22. Most of the tunes are jazz covers. Only one, "Ikin Retnin," is an original.
