Notes

"Artifacts II" is a continuation of The Beatles rarities collection begun with "Artifacts" in 1993. As with the original box set this set includes the most elusive and rarest tracks currently in the hands of private collectors - many of which have come to light only within the past year.

More than thirty years have passed since The Beatles began writing and recording the music which would change the face of popular music forever. During those thirty plus years miles and miles of magnetic tape recorded and preserved The Beatles at work and at play, at home and in the studio, on the radio and on television, and on numerous stages around the world.

Here, on "Artifacts II", is the best of the rest; And as on "Artifacts" we have arranged the music chronologically and included recording and background data to help in understanding the material. Think of these discs as historical audio documents of the Golden Age of The Beatles.
