Notes

In 1991 Bam Caruso released two compilations under the moniker "Garagelands". Extended versions saw the light in 1998 respectively 1999 on CD. It's a pretty good overlook of the US sixties garage/psych/beat scene. Put both volumes together there are still twenty songs that remain uncompiled to date. While on Volume 1 are at least some pictures of the 45's, Volume 2 has a total lack of liner notes. But what's really annoying is that they list in some cases the wrong songtitles. Beacon Street Unions "Four Hundred And Five" became "Four-O-Five", Randy Fullers "Revelation" became "Temptation" and Nooney Ricketts (here titled as Noony Rickett) "Bye Bye Baby" became "This Is The Time". Last but not least it's the music that counts and the music here is definitely good.
