Audience

Sounds like a small crowd, judging from the applause. Maxwell's is a small club in Hoboken, the band's homebase.

All songs by The Velvet Underground except "Kill Your Sons", a post-VU Lou Reed solo tune first heard on SALLY CAN'T DANCE (1974).

FROM Yo La Tengo:

"It was just beyond the grasp of our memory, but close enough that we
were able to track it down. We wrote to Rob Norris, pretty sure that
the band in question was Foggy Notion, and he wrote back:"
