Review:
This set is nothing new. The songs were available on the bobdylan.com performances page during 1998 and 1999. As they were offered as free downloads by the official website, this makes them pirate recordings of sorts. The facts that they no longer exist there and were never offered for sale tend to throw them back into the bootleg category. The tracks are a very good compilation from the 1998 and 1999 tours presented in clear, excellent sounding soundboard quality. A couple of the songs are available elsewhere on boot release, but not in as good of a quality as is found here.
The biggest problem with the Wild Wolf release is that there are five different song venues that were listed incorrectly on the back insert! A copy of this disc was made and released as a fan project. The simple but professional looking package touted the manufacturer as Morose Moose. The venue information was corrected on the fan project. Getho (another fan) then upgraded the front cover to include a full color photo. By whatever means you obtain them, these songs need to find their way into your collection.
