Summary:
One entire set at the Star Club in Hamburg ,Germany (probably not true as Bootlegzone says it's
from 25, 28, 31 Dec. 1962).
I don't know who tracked the songs as on bootlegzone; on the vinyl there are track separations
but the titles listed are 6 on each side so that's how I tracked this version so you can hear the
banter as ending or beginning of songs (depending on tape cuts) not separate tracks. Quality is
HORRIBLE but you get to hear some rough Star Club tapes the way they sounded before cleanup was
made, plus there's a lot of talk and tuning between songs which is not on the current releases
(some you'll recognize has been moved to other segments of the show - like the guitar notes
before "Matchbox" which commonly open "Nothing shaking"). One of the most noticeable difference
is the intro and a verse before the solo on "Where Have You Been" which are always missing on the
regular LPs.
This is a good one for completists and historians....
