audience

One sort of communication, which is distinct from both monologue and dialogue, is dualogue. In dualogue, while two people are talking, they are not talking with one another. There is information being transmitted, but there is no understanding. While one person is talking, the other is either trying to talk or thinking of what he will say when it is his turn to talk. During the concert it was King Crimsons turn to talk (play music). After the the show it's the audiences turn to talk. This audience at least many of the people around me were there to see Ten Years After and didn't care to listen to King Crimson. They talked much of the time and made it difficult for other members of the audience to listen to King Crimson. Even though the talking can be distracting the quality of the recording itself is excellent and the music can be enjoyed with a little effort. You have to remember that not everyone in Texas shares the same opinion as the guys that sat in front of me.
