This is the legendary Rock 'N' Roll Animal bootleg LP, not to be confused with the officially released LP of the same name, recorded at a different venue on a different date.

Although it is easy to tell this was leading up to the OFFICIAL RnR Animal Recording at the Academy of Music in NYC, it is missing the bite and the rage that makes THAT RnR Animal so amazing.

This is a very good audience recording, especially for an arena show in 1973. Lou is loud and clear and the band is in fine form as usual. Don't expect crystal clarity - there is definitely an echo from the venue's poor acoustics. There are some small pops and crackles due to this being burned directly from vinyl, however, this does not detract from the sound AT ALL. The fade ins/outs are from the vinyl - it is not due to any editing.

This LP is VERY rare and to find such an outstanding transfer is even rarer. There are circulating copies which went from LP to tape to CD and they sorta SUCK.

There is a recording of this show that is complete, but the sound is far inferior.
