Reunion tours are big business in the UK - and even one on the "chicken in a basket" circuit generates a healthy audience. Most of this CD catches just such a night of ‘Brumbeat’ at the Birmingham Locarno on 25th April 1981; with Roy Wood and Bev Bevan joined by a number of others.
The remaining four tracks are a performance by Carl Wayne on 30th September 1982. Tony Blackburn introduces this and the sound quality seems to indicate a BBC broadcast of some sort.
Reasonably lively performances though sound on the Birmingham tracks make it clear that it wasn't a global supergroup in a stadium!
