Notes:
This is the first time this rare Jayhawks recording has ever been circulated!
The date/venue is not even listed on the Jayhawks Fan Page under 2002 setlists.
The microphone was positioned on our table just to the right of the stage.
I would rate the quality of the recording as B+/A- as far as audience recordings go. There are the occassional sounds of bottles being thrown away, water glasses being filled, and beers being set down on the table. There is a static pop at 41 secs. into d1t10 (Clouds) that is on the Master MD. But, for a show being performed in a bar this recording captures The Jayhawks doing classic versions of Two Hearts, Lost My Driving Wheel, Poor Little Fish, and Big White Cloud.
I have included a copy of the flier and setlist from the show and even put together a simple cd cover.
Tim Easton was the opening act and put in an excellent performance. I recorded Tim's set as well and hope to have it mastered soon for those that might be interested.
Enjoy the recording and share the gift of music.
