I thought I might have lost all of my hard work when my hard drive crashed a few months ago, but luckily I found I had saved one
LightScribe CD of this. I'm surprised I still can't locate what should have been my 'keeper' copy complete with jewelcase. The
program I use to print my covers won't be able to recreate the covers I already had made since the files that contained the text
and what images to use was in one of the main music folders I lost.
So, I have decided to upload my first torrent and I did save the JEPG of the front cover and what looks like may be a reduced version of
the inlay. ANGELO of the powerpopcriminals site deserves the credit for the original rip of the LP and some of the CD art. Even if I had not
lost my CD Cover Creator files I couldn't really provide an image of the complete jewelcase back, as it does not save it as a standalone image
(with the text). PANDA did the original De-Clicking for me and I did further work with Adobe Audition yesterday to clean a few more things
up (again) now that I have even more experience with Cool Edit Pro and now Adobe Audition.
My buddy CDHUNTER329 ripped the Dodgers UK 45's and I did the De-Clicking and Noise Reduction. I also did the same on the other tracks,
though the NATURAL GAS ones didn't need much.
Does anyone have a clean rip of "Just Wanna Love You" from the UK version of this album?
It wasn't on the US release. It must have Tom's contributions wiped off, but we completists would like to have it. The 45 version HAS
Tom on it.
I used to save the tracks with the gap spaces included so you could just burn the whole thing with no gaps. When working with them
again I removed those gaps/extra silence. So, you should be able to burn them with a normal 2 second gap (as it was a 79:18 CD when
I ripped it). I kept the gap between the last two tracks like it was on the original LP (a longer gap of silence).
