This is the original group headlining at "Mammoth Gardens", which was a legendary venue in Denver. The only drag is that it's only about half of the show, and that they would likely have done some SARDONICUS material, or Lord knows what, in the balance of the show. The opening acts were GYPSY and THE PENTANGLE, and this tape circulates with an additional song on the beginning, which is not SPIRIT. It is a song called "Decisions" by GYPSY, which was their closing number. Since SPIRIT played the venue for two consecutive nights, it is not known if this is June 5 or 6, 1970. Pretty decent sound, especially for the time frame.
