This was the finest album by the band that made Neil Young's music sound the way it did. There are places where you'd swear you hear Neil Young singing. Great material, including the first recordings of "Gone Dead Train" and "Beggars Day," plus Jack Nitzsche on a couple of lead vocals. Crazy Horse is a great band — dark, melancholy, and bright all at once. This is worth finding and hearing often.
