This is a compilation CD of all the pre- "Alice" stuff (aka without Jerry and Co.). Included here is their only existing show and their demos. The demos, in my opinion, were dated wrong at Mr. Bacus' website, as the last three on this CD are sold as "Alice 'N Chains", a name which came after "Sleze", instead of the other way around. Not to mention, those three 1) sound better, as in recording quality, and 2) show a lot of musical growth from their 1986 set of demos. Thats my reasoning about it. Do let me know if I am mistaken PLEASE! :-D
Ok, about the lineage. The live show is pretty straightforward as you will see. The demos I got from the "Is Layne Still in Rehab?" bootleg, which I sourced directly here.
I got the bootleg name from an Ad Layne made to promote his band (this band, when they were Sleze) for a concert at their high school (Shorewood), but no year is given. Just fyi.
