The San Francisco Chronicle, FEBRUARY 20, 1994
Andy Sturmer, singer-percussionist of Jellyfish, reports that the band is writing songs for the next 'Fish album. He adds that he's been spending a lot of time with the Black Crowes, adding vocals and extra drums to that band's current recording sessions.
Recently, Sturmer completed work on an album by Sweet Pickle Salad -- his informal group with singer-keyboardist Roger Manning of Jellyfish, singer Chris Robinson and guitarist Marc Ford of the Crowes, and guitarist Craig Ross of Lenny Kravitz's band. ''I'm sure it'll be released some day. It's like Crosby, Stills & Nash meets Pink Floyd. Every song is like 14 minutes long with heavy jamming.''
