In these mixes the stereo image has been altered so that what was on the left is now in the centre and vice versa (so that the lead vocal is now in the centre). There is also much less reverb, making it sound much cleaner and, to my ears anyway, a lot more enjoyable.
The source I used is a German DVD called 'The Beatles - With Tony Sheridan'. This has all the tracks in lossless PCM audio at 48kHz (ie: DAT quality with audio frequencies all the way up to 24kHz) and is the best stereo source you'll ever hear, better than the Bear cds. It includes both versions of My Bonnie and the original versions of Aint She Sweet and Sweet Georgia Brown. It also has Swannee River but that don't sound like no Beatle track to me. >:(
I've also added an OOOPSED version of Georgia Brown so you can hear The Beatles' great harmony vocals without Tony Sheridan.
They are still sampled at 48kHz so if you want to burn to cd you'll have to downconvert them to 44.1 kHz first. The easiest way to do this is to use Pazera Free Audio Extractor and set the output to 44.1 kHz WAVE format, then burn using whatever cd software you prefer.
