Total Time ::: 28:24

NOTES ::: Fairly excellent stereo FM quality. Likely upgrades circulating copies. Check the samples.
::: (*) Came labeled 1970 but is after the maxi-single was released (though maybe the album not out in Holland yet?), so after 1971-11-xx, likely early 1972.

Recording Information ::: stereo FM broadcast -> off-air master tape -> 1st generation tape -> 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Playback 2011-07-06 ::: 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette on Nakamichi BX-300 cassette deck, Dolby B off (after careful deliberation), azimuth & pitch adjusted, heads cleaned & demagnatized -> Tascam CD-RW900SL pro CD recorder -> CD-RW -> computer, EAC secure -> wavs -> Audacity (fades &/or glitches, volume adjustments, no EQ) -> CD Wave (track splits) -> Trader's Little Helper -> yer ears. First uploaded 2011-10-23

Line-up ::: Gerry Beckley - guitar, vocals, bass(?) // Dewey Bunnell - guitar, vocals // Dan Peek - guitar, vocals, bass (?)

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

Cool Sonics Series CS-052 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: This one's for Dimer Blackchevy. I resuscitated this off my cassette last July. I had two different copies from the trader & actually the original copy he sent sounded much better, likely an azimuth playback issue. Original broadcast levels were very erratic & the Dolby simply killed things (sorry to purists). After lots of level adjustments & effort, I think it sounds damn fine. More recordings on the way. Until recently I had very slow internet access & am fixing my ratio as fast as I can, now that I am able. Enjoy, share, give, spread peace.

Kudos to Zongo for life support & Lochner for mikes & much more. A bow to Fast Freddie for running Video Dick's Record Emporium with the bathroom office full of tape decks. Thanks to Hanwaker (few among us can keep his pace) for over 30 years of trading & friendship. Mountains of gratitude to Davmar, D.White, Sanchez, Elliot, The Florida Kid, Kloiber, Zingg, JTW, Bershaw, Boston Gold, Weeks, Dixon, Moore, Gough & SO many more for all that collecting & sharing... Royal thanks to The Man In The Palace, Doc Tinker, Brinkhoffs, Barely Eatin', Reel Master Gaule, Parrish & all the traders who housed thru my music acquisition & travel years. Hats off to Brother Kent, Uncle Jake, Little Queenie (& her neighbor Frank) & his honor Ptomaine Thomas. Glasses raised to Byron for musical horizon expansion & much obliged to J & Thurston for keepin' my concert fires burnin' since my continental shift. Thanks to the Mods for keepin' DIME alive. Yers truly, Kneesfudd
