Hollywood Barn Dance, the Dave and Deke Combo's second album (their debut was a British release in 1993), is full of sharp harmony singing, Dickerson's excellent guitar leads, and solid rhythms as the combo jumps from one dance-friendly cut to another, most of them (such as "Henpecked Peckerwood" and "Chrome Dome") originals written by Dickerson and Stuckey. These guys aren't just paying tribute to the past, they're having a blast.
