CONTRAST CLAUSE: This is a 2014 redigitization of the master cassette of the
version currently running on the tracker reseeded by creature_d, which
was originally seeded by RH himself, here:

In actuality, it's very close to what was originally seeded, a couple
of the tracksplits are different, and I don't by policy include any FLAC
metadata. For the last few tracks, I re-normalized to correct a slight (-1dB)
left channel drop in L/R levels.

Recorded with RH's Sony TC-D5 deck, using the ECM-990 'tomahawk' mics. Featuring
the 'original lineup', with Lux/Poison Ivy/Bryan Gregory/Nick Knox.
One thing I should note that in his notes (reproduced), RH lists as having recorded
this using normal bias, even though the tape formulation (being chrome) is actually
Type II. I've tried playback at 120usec to match, but having auditioned the
results, decided that playback set to 70usec is correct, as it's otherwise too
hissy/silibant.
